The
ITHEPO structure is divided into a Supply
Section part and a Demand
Section part, covering the complete
pipeline of the textiles , handicrafts and handlooms
exports process. The Supply Section Committees is
analysing and permanently updating after the technical
and commercial bases of the textiles , handicrafts
and handlooms supply section, the Demand Section Committees
are analysing and interpreting the different markets
for textiles , handicrafts and handlooms. In the Supply
meets Demand Zone both parts are sharing and discussing
their analyses and respectively providing the directions
of the textiles , handicrafts and handlooms exports
industry for both parts. The Market Intelligence Committee
is supporting the Supply and the Demand side with
permanent updates and analysis about world wide markets
relevant to our exports industry. |

SUPPLY
SECTION COMMITTEES |
|
Commercial
Suppliers Committee : cover matters relating to
the production of textiles, handicrafts and handlooms,
provides a forum for exporters to discuss exports
and production of textiles, handicrafts production
issues and interact with traders and processors, discusses
matters of direct concern to topmakers. This is a
traditionally active meeting too covering issues relating
to the production of textiles, handicrafts exporters
supply section. It is also taking in charge the textiles,
handlooms spinning and weaving matters. Maintains
a dialogue with ITHEPO on raw materials production,
quality and demand. Examines the impact of any changes
to technical standards on yarn & cloth manufacture
and trade. |

Environment
Welfare Group |
|
Rapidly
growing in significance, this Committee monitors national
and international environmental regulations set by
Government and determines the impact on the textiles
and handicrafts and handlooms exports industry. Advises
the ITHEPO Chairman on appropriate actions to promote
the textiles, handicratfs and hanlooms exports industry
in relation to environmental issues. |

Technology
& Standards Committee (Structure to be found
under T&S Organisational Chart) : Co-ordinates
the submission and circulation of technical reports
and maintains the ITHEPO technical standardisation

Technical
Textiles and Handllooms: It bundles all know how,
information and activities of technical textiles and
handlooms, related to exports. This concerns
especially the sectors of fabrics, apparel, furnishings,
and consumer products. |

Retail
Club : The ITHEPO - Retail Club is focusing on
all activities on the level of marketing and retailing
of textiles, handicrafts and hanlooms products.
The Club is responsible for the input and exchange
of know how of the marketing and retail stage with
the other levels of the textiles, handicrafts and
handlooms exports pipeline. |

Interior
Textiles : The ITHEPO - Home Interiors is focusing
on all activities on the level of marketing and retailing
of all textiles, handicrafts and handlooms exports
products related to the Home Interiors exports industry
sector, such as carpets and home textiles. It represents
the full supply section of the sector with its specific
matters. This Committee is also including the
Craft and Handknitting Sectors. |

Market
Intelligence Committee : The Committee is providing,
evaluating and analysing statistics and forecasts
from and for textiles, handicrafts and handlooms exports
and related industries. |

is monitoring datas from all levels, such as exporters,
manufacturers, processors, retailers, and buyers,
consumers. |

Executive
Committee : (composed of the Chairman, Secretary
& Treasurer and three additional elected Members)
administers the affairs and operations of the Indian
Textiles & Handicrafts Exports Promotion Orgnaization
and oversees its daily management in accordance with
the Directives of the Chairman and the policy guidelines
established by the Heads of Delegation AIMAWS. |

Heads
of Delegation AIMAWS : makes recommendations to
the Chairman concerning full membership status of
State Committees, recommends to the Chairman the dates
and locations of future Meetings and Indian Textiles
& Handicrafts Exports Promotion Orgnaization Congresses,
and sets the annual budget. AIMAWS concerned with
the operational aspects and financial control of the
ITHEPO. Includes examination of the function of ITHEPO
and the future directions of the organisation. |
The
Heads of Delegation AIMAWS is composed of the Secretary-AIMAWS,
the Past Presidents and the Members of the Executive
Committee and chaired by the Chairman/President of
ITHEPO. |

General
meeting, which is our sovereign body. Being the
governing body of ITHEPO at which all decisions from
the various committees are ratified. It is the closing
forum and provides a summary and overview of the Congress,
including industry announcements. |
|
